Enrico Galiano was born in Pordenone in 1977. A teacher in a school in the suburbs, he created the webseries Cose da prof, which was viewed over twenty million times on Facebook. He launched the #poeteppisti flashmob of students who paint poems all over towns and cities. In 2020 the “Sole 24 Ore” included him in the list of the top ten teachers with the most followers on the internet. For him, the secret to being a good teacher is: “They won’t listen to you, if you don’t listen to them first.” Every now and then, he gets on his bike and travels the world with a backpack, a pen and a desire for amazement. His first novel, Eppure cadiamo felici, now being translated all over Europe, was the revelation of 2017 and won the Premio Internazionale Città di Como award for best first novel and the Premio Cultura Mediterranea award. With Garzanti he has also published Tutta la vita che vuoi / All the Life You Want (2018), Più forte di ogni addio / Stronger Than Any Goodbye (2019), Dormi stanotte sul mio cuore / Sleep Against My Heart Tonight (2020), and the essay, L’arte di sbagliare alla grande / The Art of Failing Big (2020).
