Enrico Galiano was born in Pordenone in 1977. A teacher in a school in the suburbs, he created the webseries Cose da prof, which was viewed over twenty million times on Facebook. He launched the #poeteppisti flashmob of students who paint poems all over towns and cities. In 2015 he was included in the list of the 100 best teachers in Italy by the site Masterprof.it. For him, the secret of a good teacher is: « They won’t listen to you, if you don’t listen to them first». Now and again, he gets on his bike and travels the world with a backpack, a pen and a desire for amazement. His first novel, Eppure cadiamo felici, now being translated all over Europe, was the revelation of 2017 and won the Premio Internazionale Città di Como award for best first novel and the Premio Cultura Mediterranea award. For Garzanti he also published Tutta la vita che vuoi (2018) and Più forte di ogni addio (2019), which is still in the bestseller lists.
