Synopsis

A gripping thriller that explores the shift from wicked thoughts to actually committing a violent crime.

There’s Alex, whose mother died and whose father is a cop. And then there’s Jules, who was raised, along with his handicapped sister, by a single mother. The cousins are united by a dramatic secret. Before they are even 15 years old, they have two deaths on their conscience: a young woman and her baby. The guilty party: Jules. But because he stupidly egged his cousin on to commit the irreparable, Alex has got it into his head to protect him. So two years later, when, at the end of an alcohol-fueled evening, the boys find themselves with the body of a female high-school classmate on their hands, it’s up to Alex’s father to get rid of the evidence. A decision that will cost him dearly.

In this ineluctable trajectory towards crime, another tragedy occurs, and one of the cousins winds up in jail. Why does the young man keep silent and allow himself to be blamed? That’s what police captain Corinne Jarety, tries to understand by going on, what will turn out to be, a harrowing manhunt.
