Biography

PP Wong is a novelist, screenwriter and editor. Her debut novel, The Life of a Banana, was a finalist for the Women’s Prize for Fiction and highly rated in many publications, including The Guardian, The Independent, Corriere Della Sera, The Straits Times, Bangkok Post and Vanity Fair (Italy). She was also interviewed by BBC World Service, BBC Radio 4 Woman’s Hour, Radio Television Hong Kong, and Star TV. For the audiobook, PP narrated the story in different voices for over twenty characters – from a senior Singaporean taxi driver to a classy Hollywood actress.

PP is working on a TV comedy-drama loosely based on her debut novel, “Crazy Rich Asians meets Fleabag with the dark surprises of Beef,” and an animal-centric graphic novel series for kids.
