John Sweeney is an award-winning journalist and a former long serving BBC reporter for Panorama and Newsnight. He is the author of eleven books, including three novels: the 200,000-copy bestseller Elephant Moon and two modern-day political thrillers, Cold and Road. His non-fiction work books include Murder on the Malta Express – Who Killed Daphne Caruana Galizia?, an investigation into the murder of the great Maltese investigative journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia, an examination of the Church of Scientology, The Church of Fear – Inside the Weird World of Scientology, and an account of his time spent undercover in North Korea, North Korea Undercover.
