Biography
Derek Sivers was a successful musician and circus clown until he started a music distribution company called CD Baby, which became the largest seller of independent music online. He sold the company for over $20M, giving all the proceeds to charity, then wrote the book Anything You Want to share his counter-intuitive philosophy of generosity in business. After the book’s surprising success, he wrote Your Music and People about sharing creative work, Hell Yeah or No about what’s worth doing, and How to Live about deliberately conflicting philosophies.
