Catheine Leroux was born in 1979 not far from Montreal, where she lives today with a cat and some humans. After having been a cashier, telephone operator, barmaid, library assistant, striker, shepherdess, student and journalist, she published La Marche en forêt. Shortlisted for the Prix des libraires du Québec (Quebec booksellers Literary Award): this very human novel charmed both readers and critics.
