Biography
Catheine Leroux was born in 1979 not far from Montreal, where she lives today with a cat and some humans. After having been a cashier, telephone operator, barmaid, library assistant, striker, shepherdess, student and journalist, she published La Marche en forêt. Shortlisted for the Prix des libraires du Québec (Quebec booksellers Literary Award): this very human novel charmed both readers and critics. The Party Wall, her second novel, was awarded the Prix France-Québec. As for Madame Victoria, her latest novel, it won the Prix Adrienne-Choquette.
