Biography

Paolo Giordano was born in Turin in 1982. He has a PhD in Physics and was the youngest author ever to win the Premio Strega and Premio Campiello Opera Primawith his debut novel “La solitudine dei numeri primi” – “The Solitude of Prime Numbers” (Italy: Mondadori 2008), which sold over 1 000 000 copies and was translated into 30 languages worldwide.

He is author of three other novels: “Il corpo umano” – “The Human Body” (Italy: Mondadori 2012), “Il nero e l’argento” – “Like Family” (Italy: Einaudi 2014 and 2017) and “Divorare il cielo” – “Heaven and Earth” (Italy: Einaudi 2018 and 2019), translated into several languages. He has written for the theatre and cinema and is a regular contributor to Corriere della Sera.
