Dorka-Fenech, Caroline

Biography

Born in 1975, Caroline Dorka-Fenech, with degrees in literature and from France’s prestigious FEMIS film school’s screenplay-writing workshop,  worked as a screenplay reader, script doctor, and teacher before her first novel, Rosa dolorosa, was published by Editions de La Martinière, in 2020. The fruit of ten years of labor, it won five literary prizes and was long-listed for the “Prix des lecteurs du Livre de Poche” (Livre de Poche Readers’ Award). Tempêtes et brouillards, her second novel, is equally dazzling.
