Biography

Sophie Daull (born 1965) is a French actress and writer. Her first novel Camille, mon Evolée (2015), that recounted the sudden loss of her teenage daughter, sold over 20,000 copies and won the Lire magazine prize for debut novels. Her third novel Au Grand Lavoir (2018) won the EU Literature Prize. Her books have been published in Dutch (Xander), German (Goldmann), Italian (Voland), Icelandic (Ugla Utgafa), Polish (Czarna Owca & Format), Croatian (Naklada Ljevak), Serbian (Kontrast), Macedonian (Tri), Albanian (Botimet Pegi), Bulgarian (Perseus), Georgian (Karchkhadze), Slovenian (Malinc).
