Couderc, Frédéric

Biography

A great traveller, Frédéric Couderc lives a quarter of the year in Cape Town, South Africa. A former reporter, he now devotes himself to fiction and teaches writing at the Labo des histoires in Paris. His novel Un été blanc et noir (Flammarion, 2013) received the Prix du roman populaire. His novel, Je n’ai pas trahi, was awarded the Prix du roman historique jeunesse 2021.

Second Chances is his second novel for Les Escales after Hors d’atteinte, a ‘literary challenge’ and ‘shattering success’ according to Sud-Ouest.
