Mattia Corrente was born in 1987, resides in Sicily in a small town in the province of Messina overlooking the enchanting panorama of the Aeolian Islands. He has an affinity for Calvino, Carver, Hemingway, Pavese and stories told by Stromboli’s fishermen. He has collaborated as a ghostwriter with significant Italian publishing houses. His debut novel, La fuga di Anna (The disappearance of Anna, was released by Sellerio Editore in 2022 and sold in France, Poland, and the Czech Republic.
