Corona, Mauro

Biography

Mauro Corona was born in Erto (Pordenone) in 1950. As a boy, he worked as a lumberjack and quarryman. He is a mountaineer and a climber, a world-famous wood sculptor, and a writer. Many of his novels have been published by Mondadori, including the bestsellers: Aspro e dolce (2004), L’ombra del bastone (2005), La fine del mondo storto (Premio Bancarella 2011), La voce degli uomini freddi (Premio Campiello shortlist (2014), and L’ultimo sorso. Vita di Celio (2020).
