Surcouf’s Fantastic Adventures
Original title: Les Fantastiques Aventures de Surcouf
Synopsis
Surcouf is a stray cat, with his joys, his difficulties and his tomfoolery.
Surcouf is a mischievous tomcat who learned the harsh realities of street life at a young age: loneliness, fights with other cats, but also the joys of lazing around and hunting. These became his daily routine as a stray.
After spending some time in a shelter and enduring a failed adoption, Surcouf finally finds a loving family. This former street cat quickly develops a taste for the comforts of his new home, but he has to navigate a rivalry with his sworn enemy, Mister, who delights in taunting him in his own garden!
Christine Lacroix immerses us in the unique daily life of Surcouf, her companion for fourteen years. She has written down all the moments they shared—both good and bad—so they wouldn’t be forgotten. Since then, other cats have come and gone, each with their own story, but none replacing the other. Now a biographer, Christine Lacroix has been telling the stories her feline friends wish to purr to her for seventeen years.
