Vuillemin, Lune

Biography

Born in 1994, Lune Vuillemin grew up in the heart of a forest in the Aude. Then she lived in British Columbia, Quebec and Ontario. Today she lives in the south of France, where she writes – always in search of nature, no matter how small; in the forest, on the side of a cliff or in the scrubland, with her notebook in her pocket.

Precis – Something From the Dust

A story of rescue in the great outdoors.

It all starts on a timeless island, in the west of the world. The old woman takes in the “Blue One”, a tall, bedraggled and unrefined girl, washed up on the beach. The “Blue One” becomes part of the extraordinary family of the “Old One”. Her subversive presence will, over the course of the story, shatter the balance of this singular clan where the spirits of ancestors rub shoulders with the living; where the stones are presences and the animals are prey with which we live in symbiosis.
