Torchio, Maurizio
Biography
Maurizio Torchio was born in Turin in 1970 and lives in Milan. He made the documentary Votate agli stipendi Fiat (2003). He has written a short story collection Tecnologie affettive (Sironi, 2004) and the novels Piccoli animali (2009) and Cattivi (2015), both published by Einaudi. Cattivi won Lo Straniero, Dessì, Padula, Pisa, and Moncalieri prizes and has been translated into English, German and French.
