Poggioli, Laura
Biography
Born in Angers, of Italian origin through her grandparents, Laura Poggioli fell in love with the Russian language in high school. She continued her studies at the university in parallel with her studies at Sciences-Po. She is a great reader of the collections of Anna Akhmatova and Marina Tsvetaeïva, the two great Russian poets she loves as much for their verses as for their lives. Like Marina Tsvetaeïva, she bases her life on three pillars: love, creation and family. She is 37 years old, the mother of three children and lives in Boulogne-Billancourt. Of course, Emmanuel Carrère is one of her writing masters, with, in particular, Un roman russe and Limonov.
