Biography
Katherine Pancol was born in Casablanca in 1954. After working as a teacher and a journalist in Lausanne (Switzerland), she published her first novel, Moi d’abord, in 1979, which was met with immediate success. Since then, she has written over twenty novels, translated into about thirty languages, some of which have been adapted into films.
