Biography
The writer and journalist Mathieu Palain is thirty-two. He grew up just south of Paris. He first came to attention for his sensitive word-portraits in the review XXI and his series “Des hommes violents” on Radio France Culture. His debut novel, Sale Gosse, won acclaim from critics and readers alike; his second is in the same vein, strongly grounded in contemporary reality.
