Biography
Célline Minard is the author of numerous works of fiction, including Le Dernier Monde (2007), So long, Luise (2011, winner of the Franz-Hessel-Preis), her best-selling Western Faillir être flingué (2013, Winner of the Prix Virilo, the Prix du Style, and the Prix du Livre Inter), Le Grand Jeu (2016) and Bacchantes (2019). She is considered to be one of the most distinctive voices in French contemporary literature. Her novels are well known both for their philosophical depth and for their brilliance in yoking together disparate styles and eras.
