Born in western Brittany in 1998, Goldi Merville, still a student at Paris’s prestigious Sciences-Po school of Political Science, has written a stunning first novel in a razor-sharp and strikingly modern style. Reflecting current gay identity, the novel explores the foundations/underground aspects of a world that is now seen as quaint, and asks blisteringly up-to-date questions about the search for identity.
