Macon Fleischer, Caroline
Biography
Caroline Macon Fleischer is a writer, editor, and theatremaker. Her writing has been published in Oh Reader, American Theatre, Make Magazine, PANK Magazine, The Rumpus, and others. She is the editor and co-founder of the small chapbook publisher, Fruit Bat Press, and has worked in theatre with companies including Lookingglass Theatre Company, Chicago Dramatists, Chicago Children’s Theatre, and others. She currently teaches creative writing at Loyola University in Chicago and online at Catapult Publishing. Beyond writing, she’s a mom, dog lover, and avid gardener. She lives in Chicago with her husband, young son, and Border Collie. The Roommate is her first novel.
