Lemaître-Renault, Géraldine
Biography
Géraldine Lemaître Renault is an author, screenwriter and wild plant forager. A graduate of La Fémis, she worked for several years as a screenwriter and wrote children’s literature. Having moved to the countryside in 2020, she discovered the plant world and trained in botany at the École des Plantes in Paris. Since then, her writing has been rooted in this connection to living things. Her publications include Potions magiques (Gallimard Jeunesse), Breuvages sauvages (Ulmer) and Se relier au vivant (Actes Sud). Today, she teaches adults and children about wild plants through foraging. It was this dynamic that inspired her to write her first novel, Le Goût des forêts.
