Le Clézio, J.M.G.
Biography
Born in 1940 in Nice, J.M.G. Le Clézio has written around 50 books, including Le Procès-verbal, Désert, Le Chercheur d’or and Chanson bretonne. He received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2008.
Translator, French-speaking poet and calligrapher Dong Qiang is a professor of comparative
civilization (France-China) at the University of Beijing. He presides over the Fu Lei Translation and Publishing Award and won the Académie Française’s Grand Prix de la Francophonie in 2013
