Marie-Pier Lafontaine was born in 1988 and lives in Montreal. Her first book, Chienne (2019), was awarded the Prix Sade 2020 and shortlisted for the Governor General’s Novel Prize (2020), and the CALQ Prize – Work by an Emerging Artist in Montreal (2020).
