Klein, Gérard


Gérard Klein is a French science-fiction author and publisher. He edited Éditions Robert Laffont’s Ailleurs et demain collection, which is generally acknowledged as the most prestigious science-fiction collection published in France. He was also the editor of Livre de Poche’s science-fiction collection. Thanks to both the quality of his writing and his activities as a publisher, Gérard Klein wields considerable influence on current French science fiction. He has won numerous awards, including the Grand Prix de la Science-Fiction Française, the Prix Rosny aîné, the Prix européen de la Science-Fiction and the 2005 Pilgrim Award for the entirety of his work, awarded by the Science Fiction Research Association.
