Biography
Paul Joubert lives in Paris and is passionate about writing: he is a content creator, novelist, poetry lover, and storyteller. After a first novel of imaginary adventures, Tuer le temps (L’Archipel, 2024), Paul Joubert has now written a work of magical realism. He embodies this genre in his daily life with his Instagram and TikTok accounts under the name Grosso modo (resp. 350,000 and 287,000 followers), where he brings out the poetry of life.
There is a theory that bumblebees shouldn’t be able to fly because their wings are too small for their weight. However, this doesn’t seem to bother them. Nor does it bother Peter, the narrator, who also knows how to fly. But as soon as we are carried away by a dream, those who don’t have one will always ask us to account for it.
