Jassouma, Joude with de Cambronne

Joude Jassouma, born in 1983, originally from Aleppo in Syria, was welcomed in Martigné-Féchaud, a village in Brittany. He is one of the ten thousand Syrians who arrived in France out of the four million thrown out on the streets by the war.

Laurence de Cambronne was editor-in-chief at Elle and writes for M Le Monde. She’s involved with associations that help the migrants who arrive on the Greek island of Leros and lives half the year in Greece, where she met Joude.
