Biography
Hendrik Groen published two diaries, The Secret Diary of Hendrik Groen, 83. Years Old and As Long As There Is Life. They became a huge international success: translation rights were sold to 37 countries, both diaries received the Dutch Railways Public Award and they were adapted into a hit tv-series and a theatre play. In 2018, Groen’s standalone novel Live And Let Live went straight to #1 in the Dutch bestseller list. In 2019, the prequel to the diaries, A Little Surprise, was published. Overall, 900.000 copies of Hendrik Groen’s books were sold in the Dutch language. Hendrik Groen is a pseudonym.
