Biography
Hendrik Groen published three diaries: The Secret Diary of Hendrik Groen, 83. Years Old and As Long As There Is Life, and Cheerfully on to the Finish Line. The translation rights have been sold to 37 countries and the first two parts both received the NS Audience Award and have been adapted for TV and theatre. In 2018, Groen’s standalone novel Live And Let Live went straight to #1 in the Dutch bestseller list, followed in 2019 by the prequel to the diaries, A Little Surprise. He also published the standalone novels Peace and Joy and Greetings from Benidorm. More than 900,000 copies of Hendrik Groen’s books have been sold in the Netherlands and Flanders. Hendrik Groen is a pseudonym.
