Biography

Cinzia Giorgio (1975) holds a PhD in Comparative Literature and Culture. She specialised in Women’s Studies and Modern History, and completed some of her studies abroad. She organises literary salons, is the editor in chief of “Pink Magazine Italia” and teaches Women’s History at the Università Sperimentale Decentrata in Rome. She has written scientific essays and novels. Newton Compton has published her non-fiction: Storia erotica d’Italia (2014), Storia pettegola d’Italia (2015), and È facile vivere bene a Roma se sai cosa fare (2016); and her novels: La collezionista di libri proibiti (2016), La piccola libreria di Venezia (2017) and La piccola bottega di Parigi (2018).
