Fareed, Mariam Sheik
Biography
Mariam Sheik Fareed was born in London to a French mother and Mauritian father of Indian descent. She has worked as a journalist, a nicotine chewing-gum tester, communications executive, and a girdle saleswoman. In 2006, she created one of the first quirky ecolodges in France. Le syndrome de l’accent étranger is her first novel.
