Develey, Alice

While studying at university, Alice Develey who wanted to become a doctor became suddenly passionate about literature: Beckett, Lagarce, Koltès, Artaud, Plath or Nerval… Her literary pantheon initially consisted only of dead writers. Finally, she chose to study journalism in the hopes of getting familiar with living authors.

Tombée du ciel is inspired by Alice Devely’s own experience. In the end, Alice didn’t become a doctor but, perhaps, there are other ways to treat the unwell.
