Debomy, Frédéric


Born in 1975, in 2001, Frédéric Debomy launched a project called “Birmanie, la peur est une habitude” (Myanmar: Fear Is a Habit) in order to raise public awareness about the lack of democracy in that country. He then worked for and later presided the non-profit Info Birmanie (Myanmar Info) for several years, before he began writing various books on the topic. He has written nearly a dozen graphic novels (including Myanmar: Fear Is a Habit, published by Cambourakis) and book-length essays (Finkielkraut, la pensée défaite (Finkielkraut: Thought Undone, published by Textuel).
