Federica De Paolis was born in 1971 and lives in Rome. A film dialoguist and TV writer, she has taught at the Istituto Europeo di Design. Her previous novels, which have won prizes and been translated into many languages, include Lasciami andare (Fazi, 2006), Via di qui (Fazi, 2008), Ti ascolto (Bompiani, 2011), Rewind (Bompiani, 2014), Notturno Salentino (Mondadori, 2018) and Flawed (DeA Planeta, 2020).
