De Franchi, Marco

Biography

Marco De Franchi (Rome, 1962) acknowledges that he has a noir side that has always been in him since the beginning. Ever since he was a child, he wanted to be a writer as much as he wanted to become a detective. He has, in fact, a past as Chief of Police, a period during which he worked at the Central Operational Service, the office which is closest to the FBI. His experiences in the field have been fundamental for the writing of the thriller The condemnation of the living, published by Longanesi. He lives between Pisa and Livorno with his wife Debora and their two children.
