Courteau, Jean-Louis
Biography
Jean-Louis Courteau has been reading and writing all his life. A painter and sculptor, he has exhibited his work in Canada, the United States, and Europe. In 2000, he developed a passion for diving. He is the founder of CIEL (Centre d’interprétation des eaux laurentiennes) at Lac-des-Seize-Îles, a place he holds close to his heart, after making extraordinary archaeological discoveries there.
