Cherfi, Magyd
Biography
Claiming as his influences a combination of The Clash, Madame Bovary and Jean-Paul Sartre, Magyd Cherfi was the songwriter of the Toulouse band Zebda before embarking on a solo career. Actes Sud has published his Livret de famille (2004), La Trempe (2007) and the phenomenally successful Ma part de Gaulois (2016).
