Celis, Dominique
Biography
Dominique Celis was born in Burundi to a Rwandan mother and a Belgian father, she spent her childhood in Rwanda, her teenage years in Kinshasa, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and then twenty years in Belgium, where she earned a diploma in Philosophy. She has lived in Rwanda for ten years. So Our Men Cry is her first novel.
