Biography

Born in 1976 in the Paris area, Vanessa Caffin is a novelist, journalist, film director, screenplay writer and publisher.

A sports journalist for nearly a decade, she switched to literature in 2008, publishing a well-received debut novel, J’aime pas l’amour… ou trop, peut-être (I Don’t Like Love…or Maybe I Like It Too Much, Anne Carrière). She is also the author of Rossmore Avenue (Belfond), the only French novel selected in the world to participate in the 2011 Berlinale for the Berlin Film Festival. In addition, she writes screenplays and directs both shorts and feature films. She is also the co-founder of an independent publishing house with a committed stance, Livres Agités, devoted to first novels by women authors.
