Biography

Born in 1984, Joseph Andras is the author a well-received debut novel, De nos frères blessés (Actes Sud, 2016, adapted for the cinema in 2021 by Hélier Cisterne), a poetic text, S’il ne restait qu’un chien (Actes Sud, 2017), and an essay, Kanaky. Sur les traces d’Alphonse Dianou (Actes Sud, 2018). He regularly writes profiles of poets for L’Humanité and contributes to various online current affairs and culture platforms including regards.fr and lundi.am.
