Biography
Marie Aline was born in 1979. A jack-of-all-trades and an inveterate traveler, she has been an ice-cream saleswoman, an artist’s model, a prop woman on film sets, a dresser at the Paris Opera and a weaver in Morocco. After all that, she wound up in journalism, writing for GQ, and Fooding, as well as Vanity Fair, Marianne and Glamour. She has been the food critic at M – Le Monde’s magazine, since 2018. She divides her time between Paris and the Cévennes.
