Gabriel Abreu was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1993. He studied Literature, Art and Contemporary Thought at PUC-Rio and at the Parque Lage Visual Arts School. He is a member of Brecha, a working group united by interdisciplinary research and creation. SAD ISN’T QUITE THE WORD is his first novel.
