Biography
Paul Auer is the pen name of Philippe Chevallier. Auer published a novel with Cherche Midi in 2021. Philippe Chevallier was a journalist at Philosophie Magazine, is a specialist in Michel Foucault, and is currently a curator at the BNF Richelieu, in charge of the Foucault collection and other literary collections. He knew Daniel Defert, sociologist, Foucault’s partner, and founder of AIDES. He conducted interviews with him, the unpublished material can be found in the book.
