Biography
Born in 1997, Hugo Travers aka HugoDécrypte, a graduate of Sciences Po, is the founder of the online media outlet HugoDécrypte, whose ambition is to decipher, explain, and summarize current events and issues in the contemporary world. A leading media outlet among young people, it now has more than 20 million followers on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. His podcast “LesActus du jour” has been the most listened to in France since 2024, according to ACPM. He traveled to Ukraine in 2023 to make the documentary Ce que j’ai vu en Ukraine (What I Saw in Ukraine), then in 2024 to interview President Zelensky. In September 2025, HugoDécrypte launched local editorial offices in Lyon, Marseille, and Quebec. Hugo Travers and his team embody the desire to democratize information with rigor and modernity.
