Biography
Marie Charrel is a French journalist (Capital magazine, Le Monde, Prisma, Bayard and AJIS prizes) and novelist. Her latest novel, Les Mangeurs de nuit (2023), was both a critical and commercial success, selling over 30,000 copies and winning several major awards, including the Prix Ouest-France Étonnants Voyageurs, the Prix du Livre France Bleu/Page des Libraires, and the Prix Cazes – Brasserie Lipp. Augustin Trapenard of La Grande Librairie said about her previous work, Les Mangeurs de nuit, it’s “a great novel, one of those that carries you across generations, that makes you travel, that makes you cry.”
