Bigot, Christophe

Biography

Born in 1976, Christophe Bigot, writer, teaches literature in prep school. His first novel, L’Archange et le Procureur (The Archangel and the Prosecutor), published by Gallimard, won five literary awards, including the Académie française’s Mottart Prize. His most recent novel, Le château des trompe-l’œil (The Trompe-l’œil Castle), winner of the “Nuit du livre” (Book Night) Prize, published by Éditions de La Martinière, will be coming out in paperback (Folio) soon. Marguerite Yourcenar’s work has been his companion throughout his life, as a man, a writer and from the very start of his career as a teacher of literature.
