Biography

Michaël Uras was born in 1977. Son of a Sardinian father, he grew up in Saône-et-Loire and is now a professor of Modern Literature in the Haut-Doubs. He is the author of Chercher Proust (Searching for Proust, shortlisted for the 2013 Inaperçu Prize), Nos souvenirs flottent dans une mare poisseuse (Our Memories Are Floating in a Mucky Pond), Aux petits mots les grands remèdes (Take Two Chapters and Call Me in the Morning, 2017 Marcel Aymé Prize) and La Maison à droite de celle de ma grand-mère (The House on the Right of My Grandmother’s), the rights to which have been sold in many countries.
