Biography

Matt Potter is a journalist, editor and broadcaster, writing and presenting on global politics, security and crime for the Washington Post, the BBC and more. He is also a contributor to the TelegraphLondon Evening StandardMen’s Journal, Hollywood movies, and Discovery Channel. He has reported for the BBC from Russia, the Balkans, the USA, Afghanistan, Japan, China and Southeast Asia, has won two Sony Awards for radio, and his stories on organized crime, dirty conflict and arm and drug trafficking have been published in 29 languages.

He is the author of two books, Outlaws Inc: Flying with the World’s Most Dangerous Smugglers (Bloomsbury in the US, Macmillan in the UK), which is now in production as a Hollywood movie through Thunder Road Studio (the team behind ‘The Expendables’), and The Last Goodbye.
