This is the house of the future. A marvel of artificial intelligence in whose shadow the ancient reptilian brain hides.

An architect is pursued by his failures since the brutal death of his wife in one of his buildings. He replies to an international request for proposals for the construction of low-income housing. One of the investors’ selection criteria is to be able to match the shape of the housing with the psyche of its occupants, in order to bring a solution to the misery of residents in rough neighborhoods. He thus becomes the matching architect, who guides everyone towards a future which will certainly be better. Gradually, the trap closes in on him.

The novel is constructed around every builder’s fantasy: to develop a smart home which  powers  are equally wonderful and dangerous for its inhabitants.

Selling points:
– A suspense built with Hitchcockian elegance and efficiency.
– A dive into the opaque world of major, government-funded projects and public bidding.
– An inquiry into the manipulation and influence of places on daily life and behavior.
